Because fees are wholly or partly dependent on success in the case, the definition of success is important. Our definition is this:

A claim is successful if any court tribunal or other body or any opponent or other party rules concedes or makes any award or offer of an award in favour of a client on any dispute, or would reasonably be expected to have done so but for misbehaviour non-cooperation or early termination by the client.
