Generally speaking confidentiality attached to your communications with your lawyer for legal advice means that no other person can require you to say anything about these discussions. They are completely secret and the lawyer cannot say anything without your consent either.
However, generally speaking if you choose to reveal anything the law does not allow you to pick and choose which parts of these discussions you reveal and which you do not. Either keep the whole thing secret or you let the whole thing out.
Beware therefore of telling anybody anything about your discussions with a lawyer for legal advice without being very clear that this could lead to you being legally required to disclose all of your dealings with that lawyer.
