A lawyer should keep all your affairs confidential. This is a cardinal principle. The only person who should know anything about you or your affairs as a result of you instructing a lawyer should be the the lawyer.
Confidentiality includes a lawyer should not reveal to anybody that they are acting for you, or your name and/or address.
