WHY USE US?

Sometimes a judgment of a court will require something to be done that is not anything to do with the payment of money. For example, it might be a judgment that orders somebody to keep away from a certain area. In that event if the person refuses to comply then you can apply to have them committed to prison for contempt.

In fact, very few people end up in prison this way because most people when threatened with an application for committal simply comply rather than risk going to prison, but it does happen from time to time.
