Subjects - Established business - Employment - Agency work
Commercial Agents are usually self employed individuals who are hired to make sales on behalf of a company, usually on a commission only basis or something very similar to that.
Commercial Agents do not have employment protection rights because they are not employees. However they do have rights to compensation and so on if a commercial agency is terminated and these rights are not entirely dissimilar to the rights that they would have if they were employees.
This can be quite a complicated area and we can advise you on it.
