WHY USE US?

A lawyer must be totally independent and look after you alone and no-one else.

So a lawyer cannot act for you there is any reason why the lawyer's loyalties might be tugged in another direction. If he did, there would be a conflict of interest, and conflicts of interest are barred for lawyers because they might detract from the lawyer's independence.
