Sometimes also the parties to a dispute do not live in the same area, so in that situation very often one of them has to travel to the other side's area or the case ends up somewhere different altogether.
As a general rule, the more senior the court the more likely you are to have to travel some distance to attend it. In particular Appeal Courts tend to be congregated in the capital.
