You arrived at this page by selecting:Once a hearing has started most courts sit until approximately 1.00pm and then break for lunch. They start again at about 2pm, and then close at the end of the day sometime between 4.00pm and 5.00pm, wherever the Judge sees there is a convenient break.
If there's a reasonable chance that the case is going to be finished by 5.00pm(ish) then usually the court will sit until it's finished. Otherwise the court will tend to find a convenient spot to stop and then resume where it left off on another day.
