WHY USE US?

Most courts have absolute discretion to adjourn hearings anytime they like.

Generally however they will not do it willy-nilly, and they are most reluctant to see things drag out or to grant adjournments just to suit the convenience of parties or where parties are not ready, but should have been.

Also the later an application to adjourn is left the less likely it is to be granted.
