365 days a year! (Published 12/12/05) I can hardly believe it but we are now in the 15th year since this firm started, in the fair county of Yorkshire! In those days we were cramped into one little room in Little Germany, which was regarded as the posh bit of Bradford. We shared a reception, a consultation room, a fax machine and photocopier and all those other small businessy bits and bobs with about 20 other little startup enterprises. I wonder where the rest of them are now? From small acorns huge oak trees grow, and as the years have gone by so we have grown with branches everywhere. There are 4 in Leeds for example, where most of my family hails from. And there are still 2 offices in the old town of Bradford. We have grown soley by focusing on good service to our clients. Like for example the office at Horsforth being open 7 days a week. No other law firm matches that. Recently our office in Farsley celebrated its 10th birthday. Farsleyites are a proud independent bunch, and it has been our pleasure to serve them throughout the last decade. Now we are busy serving our Whitkirk clients too, whilst nipping to the skyliner fish bar next door every now and again. I am sure it will not be long before we are suddenly celebrating their 10th too. How many chips will that be I wonder? We Yorkshire folk are straightforward no-nonsense types. In fact it is hard to imagine how a Yorkshireman ever gets to be a lawyer in the first place. All that waffle and jargon? Surely not. But the point is that that is why Wilsons Solicitors exists. It is built on good Yorkshire foundations. None of that nonsense you so often get from so called professionals. Just good straight advice from people who know exactly what’s what and at a good Yorkshire price. Don’t forget if you are unfortunate enough to need legal advice over the Christmas period, we are now open 365 days a year at Horsforth. Think of us as being a bit like one of the emergency services, always there when needed. But of course I hope you don’t need us. I hope you are far too busy having a very happy Christmas and looking forward to a fulfilling and prosperous 2006. John Wilson
